Tom Kinard is the most highly honored radio personality in South Carolina.  He is the host of Kinard ‘n Koffee, a weekday morning information and entertainment show heard on STAR 93.7 from 6 until 9.  The only radio personality in South Carolina invited to the White House for briefings by two Presidents, he was named by the National Association of Broadcasters among the top 5 medium-market radio personalities in America on six occasions, Tom is also a 7-time winner of the South Carolina Broadcasters Association’s Radio Personality of the Year Award.  In addition, Kinard was presented the Association’s Master’s Award for Lifetime Achievement.  Tom has received over 100 professional and organizational recognitions for his broadcasting and humanitarian endeavors including the Order of the Palmetto, South Carolina’s highest honor.

 Tom was educated at Columbia Military Academy, Columbia, Tennessee and the University of South Carolina where he majored in History.  Tom and Tilly have one daughter, one son-in-law and two grandchildren.  The Kinards are members of First Baptist Church in Florence.

 Tom is a licensed pilot, an Eagle Scout, enjoys woodworking and is a colon cancer survivor.
